Lillian was so excited to get back to school. A love of learning, she certainly has! Clayton was a bit aprehensive. Ok, maybe more than a bit. He screamed and trashed and tried to run (nearly into the street) whenever I came near him because he knew that I would turn him over to the school. Ack! Finally one of the teachers saw what was happening and helped me transition him in quickly. By the end of the day, he was happily sitting next to his Guide waiting. He was so happy to see me but said he had a great day. The next day he didn’t throw a fit, but wasn’t too sure he wanted to go. But by the third day, he was starting to get excited about going to school. He’s been painting like a maniac ever since. And learning songs and letters. What a big boy!
